Albin Marin
Swedish maker of marine engines and boats from Kristinehamn, known for the Albin Vega sailing boat.
Albin Motor was founded in Kristinehamn and became known for marine engines fitted to fishing boats and pleasure craft around the Baltic. From the 1960s the company also built boats in fibreglass.
The Albin Vega of 1965, designed by Per Brohäll, was built in more than 3,400 examples and sailed across oceans. Motorboats such as the Albin 25 became a common sight in the Swedish archipelago.
