Baglietto
Yard in Varazze on the Ligurian coast; has built everything from rowing boats to military fast craft and motor yachts.
Pietro Baglietto began building boats on the beach at Varazze in Liguria. The yard built fishing boats, sailing boats and, during the First World War, fast torpedo boats for the Italian navy.
After the war Baglietto became known for fast motor yachts in wood and then in aluminium and steel. The yard is now in La Spezia and builds large motor yachts.
