Bianchi

Edoardo Bianchi’s factory in Milan; racing bicycles for Fausto Coppi and many others.

Edoardo Bianchi opened a bicycle workshop in Milan and was one of the first in Italy to make bicycles in series. For a time the company also made cars, motorcycles and lorries.

Fausto Coppi won the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France on a Bianchi, and the pale blue-green colour celeste became the brand's hallmark. Bianchi is reckoned the oldest bicycle brand still in production.
