Bodum
Danish maker of kitchen goods founded by Peter Bodum; known for cafetières, such as the Chambord, and vacuum coffee makers.
Peter Bodum started an import and trading firm in Copenhagen and gradually had his own products made. His son Jørgen Bodum made the press pot the core of the company.
Chambord, a French press pot in glass and metal from the 1950s, came to Bodum when the company bought its maker, and it became a hallmark. Bodum made the austere Danish kitchen object cheap enough for everyday use.
Bodum stamped on metal parts and handles.
