Camper & Nicholsons

One of the world’s oldest boatyards, in Gosport in southern England; built the J-class yachts Shamrock V and Endeavour.

The yard at Gosport near Portsmouth dates its beginnings to 1782 and became one of Britain's leading builders of sailing yachts. The designer Charles E. Nicholson drew the great America’s Cup challengers Shamrock V and Endeavour.

Camper & Nicholsons also built motorboats and naval vessels. The name is now used by a company that sells and charters large yachts.
