Fendi

Roman fashion house that began with fur and leather goods and became known for the Baguette bag.

Adele and Edoardo Fendi opened a shop for fur and leather goods in Rome. Their five daughters took over after the war and in 1965 hired Karl Lagerfeld, who worked for the house for over fifty years.

Lagerfeld designed the double F and renewed fur with unusual techniques. Silvia Venturini Fendi designed the Baguette bag in 1997, carried under the arm like a loaf. The house is part of LVMH.

The double F designed by Lagerfeld, on fabric and hardware.

An embossed stamp with Fendi Roma and Made in Italy inside the bags.
