Fredericia Furniture
Danish maker that from 1955 was run by Andreas Graversen and worked with Børge Mogensen; known for the Spanish Chair and the Hunting Chair in solid wood and leather.
Fredericia Stolefabrik was founded in the town of Fredericia in Jutland and long made traditional chairs. When Andreas Graversen bought the company, the collaboration with Børge Mogensen began and lasted until his death.
Mogensen's Spanish Chair of 1958, with wide wooden armrests and a saddle-leather seat, became a Danish classic. The company is still run by the Graversen family and has brought in new designers.
