Fujifilm

Japanese maker of film and cameras, known for the QuickSnap single-use camera, instax and the X series of digital cameras.

Fuji Photo Film was founded so that Japan would have its own production of photographic film. The company became one of the world’s largest film makers and a rival of Kodak.

The QuickSnap of 1986 was the first single-use camera. When digital photography took over, Fujifilm moved on to digital cameras, and the X100 of 2011 gave the camera a look recalling the old rangefinders.
