Gardena

Garden company from Ulm, known for its quick-connect hose system from 1968.

Werner Kress and Eberhard Kastner started a garden-tool business in Ulm. They developed a system in which hoses, nozzles and sprinklers click together.

The system of 1968 became standard in European gardens. Gardena has been part of the Husqvarna group since 2007.
