Gense
Founded by Gustaf Eriksson in Eskilstuna; known for stainless-steel cutlery such as Focus de Luxe (1955) by Folke Arström.
Gustaf Eriksson set up a workshop in Eskilstuna, and the name Gense was formed from Gustaf Eriksson Nysilverfabrik Eskilstuna. The company made cutlery and household goods in nickel silver and later in stainless steel.
Folke Arström's Focus de Luxe of 1955 became one of Sweden's best-known cutlery patterns. Gense has also made objects by Lena Bergström and other designers.
