Gubi and Lisbeth Olsen founded the company in Copenhagen. It became known for reissuing older models that had been forgotten, such as Greta Magnusson Grossman's Grasshopper lamp of 1947 and Mathieu Matégot's furniture.
The Beetle chair of 2013 by GamFratesi became one of the company's best sellers.
