Kalevala Koru

Finnish jewellery company that makes pieces after prehistoric finds and by present-day designers; it was started to raise money for a statue.

Kalevala Koru was founded to raise money for a monument to the women of the Kalevala. The jewellery was made after finds from the Finnish Iron Age and became widespread.

Later came jewellery by contemporary designers, and the company is still owned by the Kalevala Women's Association. The jewellery is made in Helsinki.
