Källemo

Furniture company in Värnamo that under Sven Lundh became known for artistic and provocative furniture in the 1980s, among it pieces by Mats Theselius and Jonas Bohlin’s Concrete chair.

Sven Lundh founded Källemo in Värnamo in Småland and had artists, architects and designers make furniture that often looked like sculpture. Many pieces were made in small numbered editions.

Jonas Bohlin's Concrete chair of 1981, in concrete and steel, became a symbol of the new Swedish 1980s. Mats Theselius's National Geographic armchair and furniture by John Kandell followed.

Numbered editions with a label or plate; many pieces were made in small series.
