Kaweco

Founded in Heidelberg; known for the Kaweco Sport, a short octagonal pocket pen that becomes full length when the cap is posted.

Kaweco began in Heidelberg as the Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik and took its name from its owners Koch and Weber. The firm made high-quality fountain pens for a broad market.

The Kaweco Sport of 1911 was made to fit in a pocket and became the firm's best-known model. The brand changed hands and its pens are now made in Nuremberg.

An octagonal cap and short barrel; the Kaweco medallion on top of the cap.
