Gebr. Klingspor
Type foundry in Offenbach, known for calligraphic and modern German typefaces by Rudolf Koch and Otto Eckmann.
The brothers Karl and Wilhelm Klingspor took over a type foundry in Offenbach and commissioned artists to design typefaces. Otto Eckmann's Art Nouveau typeface Eckmann was an early success.
Rudolf Koch drew Neuland, Wilhelm-Klingspor-Schrift and Kabel, among others, for Klingspor. The foundry was taken over by D. Stempel in 1956, and the town's Klingspor Museum holds its collections.
