La Pavoni
Milan maker of espresso machines, one of the first, known for the Europiccola lever machine.
Desiderio Pavoni bought Luigi Bezzera's patent for an espresso machine and began production in Milan. The Ideale machine was shown at the Milan fair in 1906 and became a model for café machines.
The Europiccola of 1961 was a small chrome lever machine for the home, and it is still made. La Pavoni is now part of Smeg.
