Maserati

Sports car maker in Modena with a racing tradition, known for grand tourers and the Quattroporte.

The brothers Alfieri, Ettore, Ernesto and Bindo Maserati founded a workshop in Bologna and built racing cars. The trident in the badge comes from the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna.

Maserati moved to Modena and after the war built grand tourers such as the 3500 GT. Giugiaro's Ghibli of 1967 and the Quattroporte, a fast four-door saloon of 1963, became well known. Maserati is now part of Stellantis.
