Rosenthal

German porcelain factory in Selb, known for collaborations with artists and designers such as Walter Gropius and Raymond Loewy.

Philipp Rosenthal began as a porcelain painter and dealer and started his factory in Bavaria. The company grew into one of Germany's largest porcelain makers.

Under Philip Rosenthal after the war the factory worked with Raymond Loewy, Walter Gropius, Tapio Wirkkala and Bjørn Wiinblad. The Studio-Linie series gathered the artists' designs. Rosenthal is now owned by the Sambonet group.
