Rotring
Hamburg firm that made the Rapidograph technical pen and became a name among architects and draughtsmen.
Wilhelm Riepe founded the company in Hamburg and made ink pens with a red ring on the barrel, which gave the brand its name. The Tintenkuli of 1928 was a pen with a tubular point.
The Rapidograph of 1953 gave an even line of exact width and became the standard for technical drawings before computers. Rotring is now part of Newell Brands.
