Sanderson

British maker of wallpapers and fabrics which from 1940 printed Morris & Co.’s designs with the original blocks.

Arthur Sanderson imported wallpapers from France and then began printing his own in London. The firm became a large maker and took over the blocks and patterns of Morris & Co.

Sanderson still prints Morris's patterns and has a large archive. The firm is part of Sanderson Design Group, which also owns Morris & Co. and Zoffany.
