Stilnovo

Milan maker of lamps after the war, known for lamps by Italian architects and designers.

Bruno Gatta founded Stilnovo in Milan and made lamps in lacquered metal, glass and plastic. The company worked with designers such as Joe Colombo and Gaetano Scolari.

Stilnovo's lamps were typical of Italian post-war design, with light stands and coloured shades. The brand has since been relaunched.
