Suzuki
Japanese maker of motorcycles and cars, known for the GT750, the Katana, the GSX-R and the Hayabusa.
Michio Suzuki founded the company to make looms. After the war Suzuki made auxiliary engines for bicycles and then motorcycles and cars.
The Katana of 1981 got an unusual shape from a European design studio, and the GSX-R750 of 1985 became the model for the modern sports motorcycle. The Hayabusa was for a time the world’s fastest production motorcycle.
