Swiss furniture maker in Münsingen, known for the USM Haller office system with chromed tubes and balls.

Ulrich Schärer started a smithy in Münsingen near Bern. His grandson Paul Schärer had the architect Fritz Haller design a factory building and then a furniture system for its offices.

USM Haller of 1965 is built of chromed tubes, balls and panels and can be reconfigured. The system is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
