Florentine pen maker, known for pens in celluloid and lava.
Luigi Poli and Dante Del Vecchio founded Visconti in Florence. They revived old celluloid techniques and developed new filling systems.
The Homo Sapiens of 2009 is made of lava from Etna and became one of the brand's best-known pens. Visconti has had other owners but still manufactures in Florence.
