Jacob Jensen

Industrial designer

Danish designer of Bang & Olufsen’s products.

Jacob Jensen trained as an upholsterer and industrial designer and worked with Bang & Olufsen from the 1960s to the early 1990s.

He gave radios, televisions and record players a language of their own: flat forms, brushed aluminium and discreet controls. Several of his products are in the Museum of Modern Art.
