Craftsman, Tiffany and Ford
Arts and Crafts in oak, lamps in coloured glass and the assembly line.
Gustav Stickley published The Craftsman and made simple oak furniture, and Frank Lloyd Wright designed furniture for his Prairie houses. Louis Comfort Tiffany's studios made lamps in leaded glass, many of them designed by Clara Driscoll.
Henry Ford's Model T of 1908 and the moving assembly line of 1913 changed manufacturing all over the world. The Coca-Cola contour bottle of 1915 was meant to be recognisable even in the dark.
