Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore

A larger, sturdier Royal Oak with a chronograph and rubber protection, nicknamed the beast.
The Offshore came out in 1993 and was much larger than most watches of its time. It was at first resisted by the Royal Oak's designer Gérald Genta but foreshadowed the large sports watches of the 2000s.
Materials: Steel, rubber; self-winding chronograph movement
Manufacture: Made in Le Brassus; the case is thicker than the original's.
The octagonal bezel with screws and a rubber gasket.
The large chequered dial with the chronograph's subdials.
