A round Cartier sports watch with a crown guard hanging from a small chain.

The Pasha came out in 1985 and took up a name that, according to the brand's story, belonged to a waterproof watch made for a pasha in the 1930s. The round shape was new for Cartier, which had mostly made rectangular watches.

Materials: Gold or steel, sapphire crystal; self-winding movement

Manufacture: Made in Switzerland; the crown guard screws down.

The crown guard with a cabochon, attached to the case by a chain.

The grid-patterned crystal guard on some models.
