Gaudí’s remodelled house in Barcelona where no wall is straight and the light well is lined with blue tiles.

Gaudí remodelled an existing house for the textile industrialist Josep Batlló. Interior and furniture were designed as a whole. The house is a museum and part of the World Heritage listing of Gaudí’s works.

Materials: Stone, wood, tiles, glass, trencadís

Manufacture: The light-well tiles shade from dark blue at the top to pale at the bottom to spread the light evenly.
