Cylinda Line

A whole range of jugs and bowls as straight cylinders in brushed stainless steel.

Arne Jacobsen designed the range in the mid-1960s, and Stelton launched it in 1967. New machines were needed to make the straight forms in stainless steel.

Cylinda Line shows how stainless steel replaced silver and nickel silver in everyday life. It is protected by copyright, so only a drawing is shown.

Materials: Brushed stainless steel, black plastic handles

Manufacture: Made by Stelton in Denmark with new machines for welding and forming stainless steel.
