Het Loo

The Dutch Baroque garden at the palace in Apeldoorn, with embroidered parterres and fountains.
William III of Orange had Het Loo built as a hunting lodge and garden. The garden was designed by Jacob Roman and Daniel Marot with patterned parterres and great order.
After several changes in the 18th and 19th centuries the garden was restored in the 1970s and 1980s according to the old plans. It shows the Dutch Baroque garden style.
