The Salon de la Princesse in the Hôtel de Soubise

The oval Rococo room in Paris with paintings and gilded stucco.
The Salon de la Princesse is one of the best-known Rococo rooms in France. Germain Boffrand let the rounded forms flow into one another so that no sharp corners break the lines.
The paintings, which tell the story of Psyche, are by Charles-Joseph Natoire. The room is now in the French National Archives.
