An open sports car with a hardtop that dips in the middle, like the roof of a pagoda.

The Pagoda was the first sports car with a safety body in which the front and rear absorbed impacts. The roof was higher at the edges so that it was easy to get in.

Materials: Steel monocoque body; six-cylinder engine

Manufacture: Made in Sindelfingen with a safety body with crumple zones.

The concave roof that gave the car its name.

The tall, narrow headlamps and the large grille with the star.
