New Balance 990
The grey running shoe that became one of New Balance’s most important models.
The New Balance 990 was launched in 1982 as an expensive running shoe, made in the USA. The grey colour was chosen because it did not show dirt.
The shoe became a symbol of quality and comfortable fit. The series has had new editions over the years, and it is worn outside running too.
