The time-trial bicycle on which Miguel Indurain set the world hour record in 1994.

Indurain rode 53.040 kilometres in an hour at the velodrome in Bordeaux. Espada means sword in Spanish, and the frame was shaped to cut through the air.

Materials: Carbon fibre

Manufacture: Built in Treviso.

The broad, sword-like frame without a seat tube.

The disc wheels and the low, forward-leaning front.
