Spisa Ribb
Stig Lindberg’s ribbed everyday service in brown and white, found in many Swedish kitchens.
Stig Lindberg succeeded Wilhelm Kåge as artistic director at Gustavsberg and designed both art pottery and everyday ware. Spisa Ribb was made in large numbers.
The ribs make the pieces easy to hold and hide small irregularities in the glaze. The service is protected by copyright, so only a drawing is shown.
Materials: Earthenware with brown glaze and white ribs
Manufacture: Made at Gustavsberg from the mid-1950s.
