Carl and Karin Larsson's home, where light colours and rustic furniture became an ideal.

Carl and Karin Larsson were given the house Lilla Hyttnäs in Sundborn in 1888 and furnished it in the years that followed. Karin designed textiles and furniture, Carl painted the home and the family.

When the pictures were published in the book A Home (Ett hem) in 1899, the rooms became a model for many. The home shows how Arts and Crafts ideas took a Swedish form.
