Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
An elegant coupé on Beetle mechanicals, designed in Italy and built in Germany.
The coachbuilder Karmann had Ghia in Turin design a sporty body for the Volkswagen chassis. The car was slow but beautiful and was made for almost twenty years.
Materials: Steel body; air-cooled rear engine
Manufacture: The body was built by hand by Karmann in Osnabrück.
The rounded front without a grille, with two small air intakes.
