Alliance Graphique

Paris studio founded by Cassandre with Charles Loupot and Maurice Moyrand, for posters and advertising.

Alliance Graphique gathered some of the leading poster artists of the inter-war years around Cassandre and worked for shipping lines, railways and brands. The studio produced posters, advertisements and packaging.

The style was Art Deco at its most concentrated: simplified forms, large flat areas and clear lettering. Cassandre's posters for the liner Normandie and for the railways are among the best known.
