Hallberg-Rassy
Yard in Ellös on Orust; cruising yachts such as the Monsun 31 and later boats designed by Germán Frers.
Harry Hallberg and Christoph Rassy each had a boatyard on Orust in Bohuslän, and in 1972 they joined forces. The Monsun 31 of 1974 was the yard's breakthrough.
Hallberg-Rassy builds sailing yachts for long passages, often with a fixed windscreen over the cockpit. Since 1988 the boats have been designed by Germán Frers.
The blue stripe along the hull and the fixed windscreen in front of the cockpit on later boats.
