Husqvarna

Swedish make from the arms factory in Huskvarna; light motorcycles and, from the 1960s, motocross world champions.

Husqvarna began as an arms factory by the river at Huskvarna, which drove the forge hammers. In the 19th century the factory turned to sewing machines, stoves and bicycles, and later motorcycles.

From the 1950s Husqvarna made lawnmowers and chainsaws, and in 1995 came the robotic mower that became the Automower. The group now sells garden machinery all over the world.
