The light Swedish two-stroke with a silver tank that became a classic of the 1950s.

Husqvarna made weapons, sewing machines and bicycles and began making motorcycles in 1903. The Silverpilen (Silver Arrow), which appeared in 1955, was light and nimble and popular among young people in Sweden.

It was light enough to ride off-road, and it pointed the way towards the off-road motorcycles that made Husqvarna famous around the world in the 1960s.
