Rollei
German camera maker in Braunschweig, known for the Rolleiflex twin-lens camera and the small Rollei 35.
Paul Franke and Reinhold Heidecke founded Franke & Heidecke in Braunschweig, and the Rolleiflex twin-lens camera came in 1929. It had one lens for the viewfinder and one for the picture, one above the other.
The Rolleiflex became a favourite of press and fashion photographers, and the Rollei 35 of 1966 was one of the smallest cameras for 35 mm film. The company has since changed owners several times.
Two lenses one above the other and a viewing hood on top.
