Rolleiflex

The twin-lens camera you look down into, taking pictures on medium-format roll film.
Paul Franke and Reinhold Heidecke built a camera in which the upper lens shows the image in a mirror and the lower lens takes the picture. It was smaller and lighter than the large cameras of the time.
The Rolleiflex became a favourite of press and fashion photographers, among them Diane Arbus and Vivian Maier. It was made in many versions for several decades.

Manufacture: Made in Braunschweig from 1929 in many models.
Two lenses one above the other.
