Anglepoise

The work lamp that moves like an arm and stays where you put it.
George Carwardine was an engineer working with springs for vehicles. He designed an arm with springs that keep it in balance in every position, and patented it in 1932.
The lamp was made in England and had followers all over the world. It shows how a technical solution can become the form itself.
Materials: Steel, cast iron and springs
Manufacture: Factory-made, with springs from a spring manufacturer.

The joints, which work like shoulder, elbow and wrist.
