Bose 901

The speaker that aimed most of its sound at the wall behind it.
Amar Bose, a professor at MIT, had noticed that concert sound arrives from many directions because of the hall’s reflections. The 901 sends most of its sound towards the wall behind it so that it reflects into the room.
The speaker came with a separate equaliser and sold well. The idea of reflected sound became the trademark of the Bose brand.
