Bugatti Type 35

One of the most successful racing cars ever, with a horseshoe radiator and cast aluminium wheels.
The Type 35 was unveiled at the French Grand Prix in Lyon in 1924. Ettore Bugatti gave it wheels of cast aluminium, which were lighter and cooled the brakes better.
The car won over a thousand races in the 1920s, among them the Targa Florio several years running. It set the pattern for what a racing car should look like.
