JBL L100 Century

The home speaker with the orange foam grilles that became a classic of the 1970s.

The L100 was a simplified version of JBL’s 4310 studio monitor and was made for home use. The foam grille with its grid pattern became the speaker’s hallmark.

It was JBL’s best-selling home speaker of the 1970s and survives as a classic. It has been reissued in new versions.
