Marantz 2270

The receiver with the blue dial and wooden case that became the symbol of 1970s hi-fi.
The 2270 was a receiver, an amplifier with a built-in radio, with 70 watts per channel. The blue lighting of the dial became Marantz’s hallmark.
The receiver is seen as one of the best of the 1970s and is sought after by collectors. It shows how hi-fi was then a status object in the home.
