A sturdy saloon with a Pininfarina body, popular in Africa and South America.

The 404 was known for coping with bad roads and won the East African Safari Rally several times. It was made in Africa into the 1990s.

Materials: Steel monocoque body; four-cylinder engine

Manufacture: Made in Sochaux and under licence in several countries.
